The 18th annual Oxford Family Counseling Institute is an international professional development and cultural immersion event for  graduate students, educators, counseling professionals, and others who wish to share knowledge and research about relationship, family, and professional practice issues.  The week-long Institute is held at St. Hilda’s College, University of Oxford and includes scholarly presentations, workshops, social activities, and cultural immersion trips to London and other locations.  (The IAMFC Scotland Summer Counseling Institute, takes place in Edinburgh, Scotland immediately following the Oxford Family Counseling Institute.)

Director, Oxford Family Counseling Institute

Dr. Brian Canfield is the Director of the Oxford Family Counseling Institute.  He is a practicing family counselor and a professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida.  Dr. Canfield is a Fellow and Past President of the American Counseling Association.
